Following the Ofsted Inspection just before the holiday we have received our final report and we are delighted to say that Ofsted consider Eastcote Primary Academy to be Outstanding in every category.
This is a tremendous endorsement for the Academy. The report highlights that the children are the focus of all we do here and that we have a passion for their safety, well-being and all round education and development.
Because of our focus, Ofsted “Outstanding” will not mean sitting back, resting on our laurels. Rather it’s a call of onward and upward to go beyond outstanding.
Congratulations to the Eastcote High Fives Netball Team who won their league and reached the Bexley Borough Final
Sporting Success for the Netball Team
This season, 15 different people have represented the school at netball. However, this hasn’t stopped Eastcote enjoying its most successful season ever, winning all six of the league games played. The full record is:
Winning those six games means Eastcote top one of the two divisions in the borough netball competition and play off for first and second place against Hillsgrove Primary School with the winners going on to represent Bexley in the London finals.
A number of Eastcote pupils entered exhibits for the 42nd Exhibition of Young Art in Bexley and many of those entering were given certificates of merit. These works have been exhibited at Hall Place in the Stables Gallery.
During this half term, Monday assemblies are focussing on the academy’s six core virtues:
This focus helps us fulfil our vision for each pupil at Eastcote:
To be a Knowledgeable and Virtuous Child
For each of the virtues, we look at what they mean practically in the children’s day-to-day experiences.
